Requirements

Job Scope:

• Requirements Management: Lead the requirements management process with the assistance of the project business analyst to ensure:
• All stakeholders are adequately consulted
• All requirements are adequately documented in a requirements management tool:
• Strategy – ensure business objectives (outcomes and benefits) are clearly defined and quantified
• Workstream – ensure business and stakeholder functional requirements are used to define the project scope and success criteria.
• Technical – ensure non-functional requirements are used to build and implement the solution
• Requirements are clearly prioritized
• Baseline requirements are agreed with versioning and change control for new requirements along with a communication strategy for requirement changes
• Requirement traceability is clear so that we can see which requirements are delivered to by which solution component and release
• Dependency Management: Lead coordination across teams and across workstreams to ensure that all interrelated tasks and resources are managed to ensure that the overall project completes successfully, on time, and on budget.
• Test Management: Planning, coordination, and control of test activities:
• Organize the testing process
• Plan, coordinate, and control the various test activities
• Develop and define suitable test methods and test tools
• Technical management and control of the testing team
• Documentation of the test activities and preparation of the results
• Definition and monitoring of quality goals
• Ensure high-quality products are delivered to clients
• Report to the client on test results.
• Release Management: Implement and manage release processes for code through development, test, and production environments. Work collaboratively with all participants in the software development process. Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
• Forward Plan the release windows and cycles
• Coordinate release content, manage risks, and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
• Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time
• Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
• Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
• Weekly Release Reporting - communicate release details and schedules to the client as required
• Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for providing project planning, management and derive business values from the projects that you will be managing. You will have to ensure that the project is completed within specific time frames and budgets. Additionally, you will hire and train additional support members in the project management and business analysts team. You will be collaborating very closely with the development team to ensure all deliverables are met.
